Is Level Four Consulting the Right Fit?

Not every firm is the right client for us. And we'd rather tell you that upfront than waste your time or ours.

Who We Work Best With

Level Four Consulting is built specifically for small to mid-size law and accounting firms — typically 20 to 50 professionals — where partners carry real growth expectations and leadership is serious about meeting them. Firms large enough to need a structured approach, but small enough that meaningful change is actually possible.

The firms we work best with share a few things in common. They've usually tried something before — a workshop, a speaker, a BD initiative that started strong and faded. They know the problem is real and they're done with quick fixes. They want business development to be consistent, accountable, and built into how the firm operates — not something that happens when partners find the time. They're willing to invest in their people, not just their marketing. And they understand that changing behavior takes time, reinforcement, and leadership that's visibly committed — not just supportive in theory.

A Note on Where We Fit in the Market

There are larger consulting practices doing similar work. They're excellent, and they're expensive, typically oriented toward large regional or national firms with enterprise-level budgets and multi-year commitments. If that's your firm, they may be the right choice. But if you're a 30-attorney firm or a mid-size regional accounting practice, you're likely not their primary focus. With Level Four, you get Bob Silvy, the person who designed the program, doing the actual work, with your firm's specific situation in mind.

Level Four Is Generally Not the Right Fit For

  • Local offices of national or large regional firms with centralized BD functions

  • Firms looking for a one-time workshop or keynote

  • Law firms where personal injury or high-volume referral work drives most revenue and there's no real appetite for changing that

  • Firms where leadership acknowledges the BD problem but isn't willing to be actively involved in the solution

If this sounds like your firm, let's have a conversation. No pitch, no pressure. Just an honest discussion about whether what we do matches what you need.
